- Only Latin and Standard competitors in the Pre-Championship or Championship levels are invited to compete.
- Some of the rounds will include Visual Judging.

All participating Club Members who compete will be entered in our famous Lucky Scholarship Draw. There are
two $100 lucky prizes to be drawn, and you have to be present to win.
Competitor Entry Fee CAD/U$ 40 includes a Competitor Entry Pass and complimentary light snack downstairs. $20 of your
competitor entry fee will be refunded when you return your competitor number.
***Competitors please note: due to the large number
of entries this year, there will be very limited standing room upstairs, and limited space to have chairs downstairs. If you
wish to have a seat upstairs to enjoy the evening and the main refreshment, there will be a CAD$10 discount off the full
price admission ticket for your use only. This will be strictly enforced. Thank you for your cooperation .

Note:
The Crystal Invitational DanceSport competition is recognized by Dancesport BC as a club closed event. Therefore it
is required that all participants join as "Crystal Invitational Club Members" in order to compete in this competition. If
you have received an invitation, you are eligible to compete in the event. Membership is FREE. Scrutineer Results of this
competition will be posted on the Club members' web page of Crystal Ballroom. Also, all Club Members who competed will be
entered in the Lucky Scholarship Draw. This year there are two $100 draws. You have to be present to win. (This Club
Membership is different from the regular General Membership for Crystal Ballroom, which costs $50 and entitles its members
to discounts for parties and group lessons).
All competitors please be at the ballroom at least 45 minutes before their first round to register, and
warm up. Also, remember to collect your deposits from the numbers table in the downstairs hallway next to the lower Ballroom
changing area.
Recalls:
All recalls for each competition will be announced at the time of the competition. Recall marks are NOT
posted, so all qualifying couples are required to marshall in the marshalling area upstairs, 10 MINUTES prior to their scheduled
event.
All Adult and Latin Finalists:
An introductory Dance of 35 seconds in duration is required before the final round:
-Latin Dance: PASO DOBLE (tbd)
-Standard Dance: TANGO
Withdrawing:
Any competitors that have to withdraw from the competition please contact the Crystal Ballroom at 1-604-323-1238
or 1-604-329-1151, or email your withdrawal. Please note: deposits are not refunded.
Extra Tickets:
If competitors require extra tickets for themselves, friends or family, please see reception at the Crystal
Ballroom or telephone 1-604-323-1238 during the day. Make sure to book early as the previous year was a complete sell-out.
DO NOT leave any valuables unattended in the lower ballroom, as the Crystal Ballroom is not responsible
for any losses or damages.
